Emilia Murphy (she/her) is a sophomore from Annandale, Virginia majoring in Government and Data Science.
“I joined TRIP because I was interested in the role that class content had on students’ perception of international relations, but I have since become interested in how to enhance the relationship between IR scholarship and policymaking. Beyond TRIP, I research democratic erosion with the Democratic Erosion Consortium and am a member of Filipino American Student Association and Asian American Student Initiative.”
